The preferable way to make an application to UCT is via the online application form. You must select the Academic Development degree programme when you apply to direct application to the EDU Commerce.
2. Commerce Faculty Admissions Requirements:
The Commerce faculty has specific entry requirements which applicants completing the National Senior Certificate (NSC) matriculation must meet to be accepted; see link below. Particular attention must be paid to the following:
English Home Language (HL) - 60%
English First Additional Language (FAL) - 50%
Mathematics - 60% [70% required for Computer Science and 80% required for Actuarial Science]
All applicants must write all three of the National Benchmark Tests: Academic Literacy (AL), Quantitative Literacy (QL) and Mathematics - More information on the NBT test can be found on the prospective student page.
